Y desde la hermosa ciudad blanca de Arequipa, hemos vivenciado un importante torneo Inter Escolar de Ajedrez de carácter nacional, en el que tuvimos la visita de ajedrecistas de Lima, capital de Perú, así como también de las tierras de Cusco y Juliaca. Torneo organizado por la familia Peraltilla, que contó con arbitraje principal de mi amigo y maestro Miguel Calla. Una gran fiesta ajedrecista, sin lugar a duda, en la que decoramos la presentación con uno de los lugares icónicos de Arequipa como lo es la Plaza de Armas.
A fascinating energy was experienced last weekend at the facilities of Club FBC Piérola, one of the best soccer teams in the region of Arequipa; so chess and soccer united with the purpose of massifying the practice of the science sport.
Chess players from different parts of Peru came together, united by the fascinating passion of playing a tournament, of playing chess, a sport with countless benefits for our concentration, for the development of our creativity, our intelligence and concentration. From the youngest of the SUB 06 category, to the athletes of the free category, a warm embrace, and continue cultivating chess.
It is an honor for me to be a window for the dissemination of these events, where we interact with the protagonists of the same as they are the athletes, each of them contributed their bit to materialize this beautiful chess party, beyond the result to be obtained, the important thing is to be there, cultivating this fascinating discipline such as chess.
And as usual my beautiful people, we took this great opportunity to interact with the athletes; we interviewed part of the delegation that visited us from Lima and Cusco, some very pleasant interviews, which I invite you to enjoy in the audiovisual resource that heads the publication, where among other things we talked about tips to improve in Chess.
In this sequence of interactions we also talked with the Arequipa representatives, who of course were present in this tournament. It is worth making a special mention to little Uriel Humpire, who was proclaimed Sub-World School Champion 2024 in the U-11 category, last April in the province of Callao, Peru. A great achievement that makes the people of Arequipa and Peru in general feel very proud.
All these interactions loaded with a lot of chess energy, you can not miss any of them, in the audiovisual resource at the beginning you can enjoy them. But not everything was interactions my beautiful people, I also challenged some of the interviewees, I had the honor to play friendly games against Uriel Humpire, Camila Aramburú and Rodrigo Viveros, I am happy to have achieved a draw in all the games, because the truth is that these young people are super strong in chess.
In the audiovisual resource you can enjoy the development of all these games, which beyond the result, fill me with emotion because they are a sample of the receptivity that is felt when I go to make these sports coverage, as a content creator it is gratifying this beautiful energy that is lived. Additionally, it was a fascinating experience to get to know the facilities of Club FBC Piérola.
