Excelente comienzo de semana mi gente linda de FullDeportes, me siento muy contento de esta nueva sección de noticiero FullDeportivo, en la que tuve la oportunidad de interactuar con muchos ajedrecistas, y eso me llena de mucha satisfacción, dado que ser una ventana para difundir un deporte que tanto amo como lo es el ajedrez, es sencillamente lo máximo. En esta ocasión tuve la oportunidad de ser invitado por el MF Flavio González para hacer el reportaje de un torneo escolar de ajedrez.

On this occasion I had the opportunity to be invited by FM Flavio Gonzalez to report on a school chess tournament.
Como era de esperarse en un torneo escolar, había muchos niños y jóvenes presentes, por lo que la ocasión fue propicia para presentar al mundo más rostros del ajedrez peruano. En primera instancia tuvimos una amena interacción con el organizador del evento, es decir, con el MF Flavio González, quien viene realizando un excelente rol de masificación del ajedrez en la región de Arequipa, Perú.
As expected in a school tournament, there were many children and young people present, so the occasion was propitious to present to the world more faces of Peruvian chess. En esta interacción nos habla de sus próximos eventos a cargo de la academia Maestro 64 de la cual es el director. Y en cuanto al torneo escolar de ajedrez nos indica que la finalidad está encaminada específicamente a la masificación:

En esta misma tónica de los beneficios del ajedrez la joven Gabriela Carrillo y el niño Ricardo Rodríguez, resaltan a su edad de tan solo 13 años y 10 años respectivamente, las repercusiones positivas que el practicar ajedrez aporta en otras facetas de su vida, como la escolar.

La labor que hace el profesor Franklin de verdad que es de admirar dado que enseña a estos jóvenes de forma gratuita, lo cual es una muestra de amor por el ajedrez para encaminar la difusión del mismo.

Es importante en ese proceso de masificación y divulgación del ajedrez a través de torneos, el reconocimiento que se hace a los participantes, dado que el mismo se materializa como esa palmadita en el hombro para seguir avanzando en torno a este deporte.

Cada vez que asisto a un evento de ajedrez tanto en mi rol de reportero como de ajedrecista, es importante destacar el esfuerzo que hacen los representantes de cada uno de los niños para llevarlos al torneo, para estar pendiente de su preparación. Por supuesto hay que enaltecer el trabajo de entrenadores, que con mucho esmero y dedicación transmiten todos sus conocimientos en torno al deporte de las 64 casillas. Y finalmente a los atletas, los principales protagonistas que dan el todo por el todo en cada una de las partidas disputadas. Excelente el desarrollo de esto torneos, que tienen como propósito masificar tan hermoso deporte como lo es el Ajedrez.
Every time I attend a chess event, both in my role as a reporter and as a chess player, it is important to highlight the effort made by the representatives of each of the children to take them to the tournament, to be aware of their preparation. Of course we must praise the work of the coaches, who with great care and dedication transmit all their knowledge about the sport of the 64 squares. And finally to the athletes, the main protagonists who give their all in each of the games played.
