Hello dear friends of the
@cervantes community, for me it is a pleasure to visit them for the first time. For this entry in your community, I chose this little story, which I hope you like. Thanks in advance for your reading.
From a very young age, I was a very hyperactive child, because of that characteristic, I became my mother's favorite to assign me any task. Take some errand or trinkets to my grandmother, who lived about four kilometers away in another town.
Granny sometimes visited us, she came to my house well into the morning, when the sun was punishing, with a towel on her head. She was always an active, hard-working woman with a lot of blood in her veins, because she couldn't bear to stay still in one place, she was always doing something.

Immediately "pampers" he began the preparations to make her a good coffee, which he liked so much, something that always ended up accompanied by a cigarette. In addition to an "improved" meal to such a dear visitor. The beloved old lady enjoyed the gift of composing tenths and since she arrived everything was happiness plus jokes in very good taste.
The conversations dragged on, time passed quickly, without us noticing. For all this, on several occasions I was forced to go out along those neighborhood roads, with her on my way back, almost getting dark, taking her by the hand, because she no longer had good eyesight and lighting the way with a bright little lamp, called in the field as "gossip".
We walked all those paths making pepito stories, some other tenths of love affairs, of some neighbor who suffered misunderstandings of couples, the ones I liked the most were the funny ones. I remember some of them, I am going to tell you for your assessment:
"Allá por Ariguanabo
una perra chiquitita,
que con la punta del rabo
suma resta y multiplica.
Y si acaso se complica
en la cuenta que sacó,
al ver que se equivocó
se tira al suelo la perra,
le da cepillo a la tierra
y borra lo que escribió."
"Over Ariguanabo a little bitch, that with the tip of the tail add subtract and multiply. And if it gets complicated in the account that he took out, seeing that he was wrong the dog is thrown to the ground, brush the earth and erase what you wrote."
Next, he told me one and many others, which of them were more witty, listen to this:
"Tengo una yegua repinta
con un lucero corrido,
que en los Estados Unidos
la conocen por la pinta.
Yo se la preste a Jacinta
para ir a Cayó Hueso,
y cuando vino de regreso
se la preste a un mercader,
y hasta me llegó a ofrecer
tres mil cuatrocientos pesos."
"I have a repainting mare with a continuous star, than in the United States They know her by her looks. I lent it to Jacinta to go to Cayó Hueso, and when he came back lend it to a merchant, and he even offered me three thousand four hundred pesos."
"Yegüita como la mía
no la monta en el instante,
porque camina "Palante "
un mes y diecinueve días.
Si la tratas de porfía
guatrapea a la carrera,
anda toda la isla entera
y si la montaras tú,
despídete del siju
y de la gata pollera."
"Mare like mine he doesn't mount it instantly, because "Palante" walks one month and nineteen days. If you treat her stubbornly guatrapea on the run, walk the whole island and if you assembled it, say goodbye to the siju and the pollera cat."
When one arrived home practically at night, he began to walk around looking for his little animals. Checking the good condition of them, mainly the pig, which he fed and tied up somewhere safe. Always before going to bed, he checked his rooms well to make sure no naughty frog had gotten into the room.
In one of these trips accompanying her, it had rained, after a lot of work, we arrived at the stream, she was terrified to cross the rudimentary bridge that there was to cross to the other side. I had no choice but to leave the packages on the shore and ride her on my back.
Thanks to the fact that I was thin, I was adapted to carrying sacks of food in other rough jobs typical of the fields, so I was able to pass it through the current, which at its deepest hit me above the knee.
With all these setbacks we arrived very late, made two balls of mud, but in good spirits, we took a dip and fell exhausted into the arms of Morpheus.
