Good day dear Hive friends, first of all I would like to wish you all a pleasant day and hope you are all well and you had a weekend that was full of positive experiences! In this post, I would like to talk about art history and hope you can expand your knowledge.
Here are some pictures that I created with the help of artificial intelligence and are intended to express Pointillism a little more, which is part of Neoimpressionism and was developed in the 19th century. The French artists Georges Seurat (1859 - 1891) and Paul Signac (1863 - 1935) are considered co-founders of this technique and other well-known artists such as Pablo Picaso also devoted himself to this style during his career. The highlight of pointillism was between 1889 and 1910 it is an extremely demanding art form which requires a high amount of skill and it is best to use a round brush which should be cleaned before each new color mixture and this art form had the effect that from a certain distance it stands out as if the points were automatically combined and the brain was specifically stimulated with this combination of the different colors. The focus was on the effect and meaning of the colors and it was about creating the painting from many tiny points that were linked together and the focus was on the principle of optical division of colors and the artists dedicated themselves to visual effects. Particular emphasis was placed on the brightness and liveliness of the artwork and it is a very special form of art when the small dots have been assembled into a whole work of art and Pointillism was also often regarded as a continuation of Impressionism.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read through my post and I hope you like it and can learn something new about art history!
