Hey dear Hive Community, I would like to welcome you all to my new post and hope you are all well and you had a day that was full of positive experiences! Today I would like to talk about art and bring an interesting epoch closer and hope you can learn something new.
Here are some pictures that I have created with artificial intelligence and are supposed to bring the baroque art epoch a little closer. The origins can be traced back to Europe and this epoch was particularly formative and reached between the 17th and 18th centuries the climax and various branches of art such as painting, architecture and music have flowed into this epoch, which have merged into an entire picture. Before the Baroque, the Renaissance was still the most important epoch and Baroque was divided into different periods and there was Early, Middle and Late Baroque or Rococo. Rococo brought a great momentum and the ornaments became more pronounced and was known for the elegance and lightness and while Baroque was even more influenced by religion, Rococo was considered a more playful art form. During the other Baroque eras, more symmetry was preferred, which changed completely in Rococo and much more asymmetry was integrated into the works.
Italy is known as the origin of the Baroque and over time this epoch has expanded more and more and reached other countries such as Spain, France, Germany or the Netherlands. To this day, Italy is still considered one of the most important centers for the Baroque and from there more and more influences from other countries flowed into this era. The most important characteristics often include the exaggerated nature or drama that should give the works of art their very own dynamic effect and baroque architecture is known to express passion and generosity. Often transitions have been strongly embodied and this is especially good when playing with light, shadow as well as the color contrasts or radiance and paintings are known to look very realistic and natural. What is also noticeable in baroque works of art is the urge for imagination, which is often noticeable in abstract forms and in addition, it was often about expressing triumph and another focus was the depth effect.
Architecture in the Baroque period was often decorated with many artistic ornaments and precious metals such as gold which were of great importance for these mostly magnificent buildings. The gardens were also adapted to this era and usually received their own characteristics such as large meadows, fountains with ornaments, artistic hedges or trees and large flower beds. Also formative for baroque art was Sicily, which has greatly changed the whole style and balconies or railings have been decorated more and more and made everything look very magnificent. The art of forging has also played a major role and metal was one of the most important materials to create stylish and decorative railings or other ornaments made of metal and the Baroque epoch has brought the art of forging to a new level with unmistakable recognition value.
