To participate once again in the challenge of the month "Cats" I took advantage of some of the threads that I recently bought.

I made a cat cushion using pale yellow, mustard yellow and dark green threads, a 3.5 mm aluminum crochet hook, a blunt or wool needle, scissors, a row marker and stuffing.
Hice un cojín gatuno usando hilos de color amarillo pálido, amarillo mostaza y verde oscuro, ganchillo de aluminio de 3,5 milímetros, aguja punta roma o lanera, tijeras, un marcador de vueltas y relleno.

With the mustard yellow thread I first made a chain of 40 stitches.
I continued to knit around it in single crochet circles, following an increasing pattern until I reached 90 stitches. I kept alternating both shades of yellow yarn.

I continued alternating without increasing and successively 2 rounds of single crochet in pale yellow thread - 1 round in mustard yellow thread, until round 34.

So I started knitting only in pale yellow the face area like this:
on round 35 I knitted the first 12 stitches with pale yellow instead of mustard yellow. On lap 38 I did the same, but with the first 14 sc, on lap 41 with the first 16, on lap 44 with the first 18, and on lap 47 with the first 20 stitches. On rows 50, 53, 56.59, I knitted them, equally, in the first 22 stitches with pale yellow.

In the other rows, which are normally in light yellow, I knitted all the stitches of the same color.
En las demás vueltas, que normalmente van en amarillo claro, tejí todos los puntos del mismo color.
On laps 62, 65, 68 and 71 I inversely reduced the number of stitches in light yellow and increased the number of stitches in mustard yellow.
I continued like this until row 74, and made a last row in crab stitch with mustard yellow, at the same time knitting 6 buttonholes with chains of 5 stitches along the edge.
En la vueltas 62, 65, 68 y 71 fui reduciendo de forma inversa el número de puntos en amarillo claro y aumentando el de puntos en amarillo mostaza.
Continué así hasta la vuelta 74, e hice una última vuelta en punto cangrejo con amarillo mostaza, tejiendo al mismo tiempo 6 ojales con cadenetas de 5 puntos a lo largo del borde.
I made the ears knitting two cones in 23 rows of single crochet with dark green yarn, following the increase scheme below.
Hice las orejas tejiendo con hilo verde oscuro dos conos en 23 vueltas de puntos bajos, siguiendo el siguiente esquema de aumentos.
I also made the tail with 44 single crochet rows, following this increase pattern.

I embroidered eyes, nose, mouth and ears with mustard yellow, using the same crochet hook.
I sewed the ears and tail to the rest of the cushion using a blunt point needle.
Bordé ojos, nariz, boca y orejas con amarillo mostaza, usando el mismo ganchillo.
Cosí las orejas y la cola al resto del cojín usando una aguja punta Roma.
I also made 5 knitted buttons, two green and three yellow, knitting rows of low stitches inside a magic ring. Then I sewed them to the rest with a wool needle in each place corresponding to a buttonhole.
También hice 5 botones tejidos, dos verdes y tres amarillos tejiendo vueltas sin cerrar de puntos bajos dentro de un anillo mágico. Después los cosí al resto con aguja lanera en cada lugar correspondiente a un ojal.
To finish I hid the loose ends, stuffed and closed using the woven buttons and buttonholes.
Para finalizar escondí los cabos sueltos, rellené y cerré utilizando los botones y ojales tejidos.
