Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing great.
I didn’t really want to do a review on this movies Reborn Rich but I just can’t contain my thoughts, confusion and utter amazement at the script. At first when watching the early episodes, I am like oh wow, he came back and is going to find a way to right the wrongs of the past but then his mom from past life still dies after everything he did to stop that outcome and I am like what are they acting this particular thought followed me till around a few more episodes where I came to an agreement with Do jun that some things preordained would not change.
Then finally everything is going smoothly and he was able to accomplish his goal of the new life only for him to still die. And I am back to screaming what is going on here, what are they acting and he actually wakes up in his actual life he thought was gone and it’s like every other thing is a dream.
The final plot of this movie left me wowed, jaw dropping wow. Along the last episodes of the movie I pause a lot and try to comprehend and catch my breath. One moment I think I know what’s happening and the next moment it’s something else.
A Watch or not?
Would I recommend this movie for you to watch, YES! A total yes. The movie plot is really amazing, I would say it is one of the best korean movies I have seen so far. If I where asked to measure it out of 10 I would give it a 100.
What I love about this movie
The writer is great, the suspense level of this movie is top notch and would keep you guessing and writhing on your seat. The actors played their roles to perfection.
My Confusion
The actor that played Do Jun, the grandson of the founder of sooyang and Yoon Hyeon are the same. I wonder if they played it for them too look alike but then no one points out in the movie the resemblance, or if it was just portrayed that way because of the rebirth. what are your thoughts?
My Favorite Actor
Song Joong-ki who played Yoon Hyeon and Do-Jun was actually the reason I thought to see this move at first as I have seen previous movies he acted in and fell in love with his character. My oppa. And I am glad I saw this movie.
My Best Scene
There are different scenes I could categorize as my best but For the sake of this review I would choose just two. The first is where Yoon Hyeon plays the recording at the hearing in court, I loved seeing the
expression of shock on Jin Seong-jun’s face.
And the other is where Yoon Hyeon realized the reason for everything that happened.
