The music clip has been shot on the seaside close to Camogli, a small town in Ligury, Italy. The strange buildings you see are bunkers from World War 2. They were placed on the side of the cliff, hidden in the wild Mediterranean vegetation. I thought they could help recreate the broken inner landscape that evokes from the lyrics. Stramare - this is the name of the songwriter - is only 21 years old. His poetry though is already mature and his words are strongly graphic.
The first verses go like this:
...May I put my fingers into your eyes
to see if there is the sea inside
and then I suck my index finger
to feel that it tastes of dried salt
May I put my ear on your chest
to hear the storm inside...
