It does not mean that. You can own whatever version you want but to unlock a card you should have it maxed. For example. If you have a max swamp spitter you wont be able to unlock your GF swamp spitter

Sometimes XBot stops playing with 1 or 2 fights left for the next dayly chest. When that happens people manually play 1 or 2 matches to top it off. Using BH in that instance for ranked is very common.

the changes seem good but 500 dec for 1 match in champion is kind of low pricing, right? Even now with only 4 days left in the season a win in champion wild yields around 11 sps that equals to 355 dec.

I think it would be a good idea if GFs cards are the exception to this rule. GF are generally more expensive than regular cards and more scarce. Also with the latests bonus for ranked rewards gf cards
