Splinterlands is one of my favorite games, and I play it almost every day. My goal of constantly strengthening my collection is what keeps me motivated to continue progressing in the game.
There are many different ways to build a strong collection, but the foundation of my strategy has always been Reward and Gladiator cards.
With so many cards available today, deciding which ones deserve to be maxed out has become increasingly difficult. After all, every player has limited time and financial resources. However, using max-level cards greatly increases your chances of winning battles and earning better rewards.
My current goal is to max out all of my Conclave Rare Reward cards. At the end of last season, I managed to upgrade several of them to level 7, leaving them just one step away from their maximum level.
This season wasn't one of my best in terms of performance. I earned around 200,000 Glints, spending part of them on Rare Draws and Epic Draws.
Since most of my Rare cards are already approaching their maximum level, I've started investing more of my Glints into Epic cards. Before long, I'll probably stop buying Rare Draws altogether and focus exclusively on Epic Draws.
It was also a somewhat frustrating season because I couldn't earn many Glints through ranked battles. Even so, I collected enough resources to continue improving my collection.
This season I upgraded one Epic card to level 3, another Rare card to level 7, and also brought one more Common Gladiator card to its maximum level.
Every upgraded card makes my battles a little easier. As my collection grows stronger, I become less dependent on buying or renting cards to stay competitive.
That's one of the reasons Splinterlands remains one of my favorite games: you can build an extremely competitive collection simply by playing.
Every new upgrade motivates me even more to use these cards in battle. So, what better way to celebrate than putting them to the test right away?
Today's battle features some of these newly upgraded cards so we can see how they perform in combat.
With my Reward cards now at higher levels, it was finally time to test them.
This battle featured the Fates Certainty and Equal Opportunity rulesets, with 50 mana available and only the Life and Earth Splinters enabled.
Given those conditions, I chose the Life Splinter since it's both my favorite and the one with the strongest available Archon.
Interestingly, my opponent made exactly the same choice and even used several of the same monsters.
Among my lineup were two Conclave Reward cards: Saltwraith Bulkhead and Mindless Thrall.
Taking advantage of the Equal Opportunity ruleset, I built my team around some of the strongest monsters in my collection.
My Archon granted Heal to my main tank, Bera Dallin, an outstanding monster with high Health, strong Armor, and powerful melee damage.
My opponent fielded almost the same frontline but chose an Archon that granted +2 Speed to the entire team.
By the second round, my team had absorbed the enemy's attacks very well.
Meanwhile, my opponent had already lost most of their team, leaving only three monsters alive.
One of the MVPs was Lady Stealthfire, positioned in the last slot. She continuously boosted my team's melee damage while repairing the armor of my allies.
By the end of the battle, only a single enemy monster remained while nearly my entire team was still standing.
Once again, Reward cards proved just how powerful they can be. Even though I own several powerful cards, Reward cards continue to form the core of most of my lineups.
That's why I believe continuously improving your collection is essential in Splinterlands.
Even better, you can achieve this growth without spending real money, simply by making good use of the rewards earned each season.
My advice for newer players is to focus on a single card rarity and keep buying Draws from that rarity until those cards reach their maximum level. After that, simply repeat the process with the next rarity.

Existem inúmeras formas de construir uma coleção forte, mas a base da minha estratégia sempre foram as cartas Reward e as cartas Gladiator.
Com tantas cartas disponíveis atualmente, decidir quais levar ao nível máximo se tornou uma tarefa difícil. Afinal, tanto os recursos financeiros quanto o tempo de cada jogador são limitados. No entanto, utilizar cartas no nível máximo aumenta significativamente as chances de vencer batalhas e conquistar melhores recompensas.
Meu objetivo atual é levar todas as cartas Reward Rare da coleção Conclave ao nível máximo. Ao final da última temporada consegui evoluir algumas delas para o nível 7, ficando a apenas um passo do nível máximo.
Esta temporada não foi uma das melhores em termos de desempenho. Consegui aproximadamente 200 mil Glints, parte deles investidos em Rare Draws e Epic Draws.
Como minhas cartas raras já estão próximas do nível máximo, comecei a direcionar parte dos recursos para as cartas épicas. Muito em breve provavelmente deixarei de comprar Rare Draws e passarei a focar apenas nas cartas épicas.
Também foi uma temporada um pouco frustrante porque não consegui conquistar muitos Glints através do ranking das batalhas. Mesmo assim, os recursos obtidos foram suficientes para continuar fortalecendo minha coleção.
Consegui elevar uma carta épica ao nível 3, outra carta rara ao nível 7 e ainda levei mais uma carta Gladiator comum ao nível máximo.
Cada carta evoluída torna minhas batalhas um pouco mais fáceis. Conforme minha coleção cresce, também aumenta minha capacidade de competir sem precisar comprar ou alugar muitas cartas.
Esse é justamente um dos motivos pelos quais Splinterlands continua sendo um dos meus jogos favoritos: é perfeitamente possível construir uma coleção extremamente competitiva apenas jogando.
Cada novo upgrade me motiva ainda mais a utilizar essas cartas nas batalhas. Então, nada melhor do que colocá-las imediatamente à prova.
Na batalha de hoje utilizarei algumas dessas cartas recém-evoluídas para ver como elas se comportam em combate.
Com minhas cartas Reward em novos níveis, chegou a hora de testá-las.
A batalha aconteceu com os Rulesets Fates Certainty e Equal Opportunity, além de contar com 50 de mana e apenas os Splinters Life e Earth disponíveis.
Diante dessas condições, escolhi o Splinter Life, que além de ser meu favorito, possuía o melhor Archon disponível para essa partida.
Curiosamente, meu adversário fez exatamente a mesma escolha e ainda utilizou vários monstros iguais aos meus.
Entre os monstros escolhidos estavam duas cartas Reward da coleção Conclave: Saltwraith Bulkhead e Mindless Thrall.
Aproveitando o Ruleset Equal Opportunity, montei uma equipe com alguns dos monstros mais fortes da minha coleção.
Meu Archon concedeu Heal ao tanque principal, Bera Dallin, um excelente monstro com muito HP, grande quantidade de armadura e alto dano corpo a corpo.
Meu adversário utilizou praticamente a mesma linha de frente, mas optou por um Archon que concedia +2 de velocidade para toda sua equipe.
Na segunda rodada minha equipe resistiu muito bem aos ataques inimigos.
Enquanto isso, o adversário já havia perdido boa parte do seu time e restavam apenas três monstros em campo.
Um dos grandes destaques foi Lady Stealthfire, posicionada na última posição, aumentando o dano corpo a corpo da equipe enquanto reparava constantemente a armadura dos aliados.
No final da batalha restava apenas um único monstro do adversário enfrentando praticamente toda a minha equipe.
Mais uma vez ficou evidente a força das cartas Reward. Apesar de possuir várias cartas poderosas, elas continuam formando o núcleo da maioria das minhas composições.
Por isso considero tão importante continuar evoluindo a coleção em Splinterlands.
Melhor ainda quando essa evolução acontece praticamente sem gastar dinheiro, apenas utilizando os recursos conquistados durante as temporadas.
Meu conselho para quem está começando é escolher uma raridade específica e concentrar todos os seus Draws nela até levar essas cartas ao nível máximo. Depois disso, basta repetir o processo com a próxima raridade.
