Hello Splinter Fanatics!

Splinterlands is an amazing Card Game, in case you've fallen here by parachute, this is the best #Play2earn out there. And this post is an event held weekly to spread the word about the @splinterlands universe on social media.

In today's post we are going to look at an interesting battle that happened in the last Brawl. Usually, when the Earth Splinter is available the most obvious option is to climb the powerful TOWERSHEAD QUORA.

However, if the battle takes place in the enemy guild arena there is the option to block our Invocators and Monsters. Generally, the obvious choice of the opponents is to block the QUORA.

And when this happens it is frustrating, because you cannot choose the QUORA, but your opponent can. So all you have to do is strategize to defeat the QUORA. There is always a way to counter an opponent's monster or strategy, in Splinterlands.

All Gladius Edition cards have the Bloodlust ability , which increases all monster stats when defeating an enemy monster. And one way to calm these gladiators down is to use monsters with the ability Dispel , which clears all the positive effects of enemy monsters.

There are many monsters with the ability Dispel most of them only release this ability near the maximum levels. However, for me playing in the Gold League it is not that difficult to find cards with this ability.

Another way to try to counter the powerful Quora is to nullify her Heal ability with monsters or Summoner that have the Affliction ability. Monsters have to hit the target and hope for this ability to be enabled, while Summoner Mimosa Nighshade nullifies the healing of all monsters on the field except those with the Immunity ability.

Nothing better than to analyze a battle, which happened in Brawl. Where the Earth Splinter was available and QUORA TOWERSHEAD is blocked and in this situation I knew that the opponent would choose this card.

Our battle took place in Wild mode, in the Golden League and the Splinters of Earth, Death, Dagron and 17 mana available. Knowing that the opponent was going to use Earth Splinter and scale QUORA.

Among the available Splinters I chose Earth, because for battles at low mana it is a great option. Both players opted to choose the Obsidian Summoner, which increases magic damage by (+1).

Since QUORA has 10 mana cost our opponent already uses 14 mana, adding with the Summoner's cost. Meanwhile, we focus on scaling as many monsters as possible.

Below follows our escalation strategy:

CARD	STRATEGY
	In the first position, I scaled FAILED SUMMONER to reflect back some of the magic damage.
	In the second position I climbed VENATOR KINJO, to defend against the effects of the Explosive Weaponry Ruleset
	In the third position FUNGUS FIEND was ranked, which has zero mana and was only ranked as a discard card.
	Soon after, I climbed KATRELBA GOBSON a gladiator with Sneak and Double Strike abilities , which makes it even easier to activate the Bloodlust ability.
	Next, I've deployed QUEEN MYCELIA who possesses the abilities Amplify and Protect , in order to increase the damage returned from FAILED SUMMONER and increase the protection of all our team.
	And finally, I have scaled FURIUOS CHICKEN as a discard car.

In the first round, FAILED SUMMONER received QUORA damage and was defeated. Our luck was that the opponent used several discard cards in the backline and this served as food for our gladiator, KATRELBA GOBSON.

Due to the Double Strike skill and the Explosive Weaponry rule , KATRELBA GOBSON managed to defeat four monsters with his double attack, making him a real monster.

And with just one blow, KATRELBA GOBSON was able to defeat QUORA. It was a battle in which I was surprised with the result. I could not apply any of the strategies shown in this post to counter QUORA.

With the final result of the Brawl, I managed to buy 3 Gladius packs and opening them I had a good surprise. I won a new Legendary for our collection, LARISSA KERATO, who has a magic attack and the ability Double Strike. It will help a lot in our battles.

In today's post we analyze a battle in Brawl, which in my opinion was very interesting, showing that not always QUORA wins.

No post de hoje vamos analisar uma batalha interessante, que aconteceu no último Brawl. Geralmente, quando o Splinter de Terra está disponível a opção mais obvia é escalar a poderosa QUORA TOWERSHEAD.

Porém, se a batalha acontece na arena da guilda inimiga existe a opção de bloquear nossos Invocadores e Monstros. Geralmente, a escolha obvia dos oponentes é bloqueiar a QUORA.

E quando isso acontece é frustante, porque você não pode escolher a QUORA, mas o oponente sim. Então o que resta é montar uma estrategia para derrotar a QUORA. Sempre existe um forma de counterar um monstro ou estratégia do oponente, em Splinterlands.

Todas as cartas da Edição Gladius possuem a habilidade Bloodlust , que aumenta todos os stats do monstro quanto derrota um monstro inimigo. E uma forma de acalmar estes gladiadores é utilizar monstros com a habilidade Dispel , que limpa todos os efeitos positivos dos monstro inimigo.

Existem várias mostros com a habilidade Dispel a maioria deles somente liberam essa habilidade próximo dos níveis máximos. Porém, para mim que jogo na Liga Ouro não é tão dificil encontrar cartas com essa habilidade.

Outra forma de tentar counterar a poderosa Quora é anulando sua habilidade Heal com monstros ou Invocador que possuam a habilidade Affliction . Os monstros têm que acertar o alvo e torcer para que essa habilidade seja habilitada, já a Invocadora Mimosa Nighshade anula a cura de todos os monstros em campo, exceto os que possuem a habilidade Immunity .

Nada melhor do que analisar uma batalha, que aconteceu no Brawl. Onde o Splinter de Terra estava disponível e QUORA TOWERSHEAD esta bloqueada e nesta situação eu sabia que o oponente iria escolher esta carta.

Nossa batalha aconteceu no modo Wild, na Liga de Ouro e os Splinters de Terra, Morte, Dagrão e 17 de mana disponível. Sabendo que o oponente iria utilizar o Splinter de Terra e escalar a QUORA.

Dentre os Splinters disponíveis escolhi Terra, pois para batalhas em baixa mana é uma ótima opção. Ambos os jogadores optaram por escolher a Invocadora Obsidian, que aumenta o dano mágico em (+1).

Como QUORA possui 10 de custo de mana nosso oponente já utiliza 14 de mana, somando com o custo do Invocador. Enquanto, nós focamos em escalar a maior quantidade possível de monstros.

Abaixo segue nossa estratégia de escalação:

	Na primeira posição, escalei FAILED SUMMONER para refletir de volta parte do dano mágico.
	Na segunda posição escalei VENATOR KINJO, para se defender dos efeitos do Conjunto de Regra Explosive Weaponry
	Na terceira posição foi escalado FUNGUS FIEND que possui zero de mana e foi escalado somente como carta de descarte.
	Logo após, escalei KATRELBA GOBSON uma gladiadora com habilidade Sneak e Double Strike , o que torna ainda mais fácil ativa a habilidade Bloodlust.
	Em seguida, escalei QUEEN MYCELIA que possua as habilidade Amplify e Protect , a fim de aumentar o dano retornado de FAILED SUMMONER e aumentar a proteção de todos nosso time.
	E por fim, escalei FURIUOS CHICKEN como carta de descarte.

Na primeira rodada, FAILED SUMMONER recebeu os danos de QUORA e foi derrotada. Nossa sorte foi que o oponente ultilizou várias cartas de descarte na backline e isso serviu de alimento para nossa gladiadora, KATRELBA GOBSON.

Devido a habilidade Double Strike e a regra Explosive Weaponry , KATRELBA GOBSON conseguiu derrotar quatro monstros com seu ataque duplo, tornando-se um verdadeiro monstro.

E com apenas um golpe, KATRELBA GOBSON foi capaz de derrota a QUORA. Foi uma batalha em que fiquei surpreso com o resultado. Pois, não conseguir aplicar nenhuma das estratégia mostradas neste post, para counterar a QUORA.

Com o resultado Final do Brawl conseguir comprar 3 packs Gladius e abrindo tive uma boa surpresa. Ganhei uma nova Lendária para nossa coleção, LARISSA KERATO, que possui ataque mágico e a habilidade Double Strike. Vai ajuda bastante em nossa batalhas.
