My parents also split up during my adulthood, but most of my trauma stems from my partners being unfaithful to me and dishonest with me. Every relationship in my adult life has led to this scenario including with my current partner of almost 7 years. We decided to stay together this time, but that pain and resentment is some potent poison that runs in the veins.
