--Welcome to Writing and Dreaming, I’m Ela Meadows and I’m taking in the NaPodPoMo challenge. I’m a writer, artist, adventurer and single mom to a lovely elementary school boy in addition to being a service dog handler.
For the 30 days of November you’ll be receiving my regular poetry posts, plus a bonus podcast where I read the poem aloud and briefly discuss the inspiration behind it. I was invited to participate by the lovely community at Creative Work Hour and decided I might as well give it a go.
I have listed the podcast as explicit content as some of my poems do have strong language and many are on subjects such as trauma, abuse and sexual assault. If a podcast is going to be on a sensitive topic I will always list that in the title and make note of it verbally as part of the intro. I hope you enjoy going on this new journey with me.
