✨ Friends HIVERS✨ how happy 😄 I feel to be here again sharing with you in this beautiful community where fun, outings, celebrations, events and anything we do on the weekend come together.
Many go out for a walk, others go shopping, some study or teach, among other things, and a great part of us work at home. Doing repairs, washing the car and cleaning the house or other types of work.
This weekend I had to clean mom's house, it was two days, Saturday and Sunday. The reasons are because it has rained 🌧️ in our city almost daily with intensity.
As a consequence, a large amount of leaves have fallen 🍃🍂 that have accumulated during the week and water wells have been generated in the surroundings. In addition, the whole house has become dirtier inside than usual.
In addition, LOGAN 🐕🦺 and LUNA🦮; who are my pets, have been doing their thing these days. They need my intervention in the deep cleaning that these circumstances have generated and in addition to the cleaning that normally requires the house.
Also, being an old house, the water is leaking, the bushes of my neighbor leaves fall in my garage and a series of conditions that have come together and that induced me to perform this weekend cleaning work in all its spaces.
In that sense, I had to distribute and divide the cleaning job in two days. The cleaning was a bit deep as it involved washing the floors with water, picking up garbage and cleaning the fridge, kitchen and other things. It was intense and exhausting. I have to admit that I got a little tired.
Normally when I clean I play music and sing🎶🎵🎤.
. I like to listen to Beatles songs which is the band that lately I've been listening to more often because I'm learning English and I'm having fun singing hahahaha.
As you know I became a grandmother and I feel very happy but also very committed and motivated with this new being that came into my life.
A few days ago I delivered my puppies Luna and Logan's children to their new home and on the other hand I have been recovering my space in my apartment that I had left alone for five years.
But it is not so easy to do so many things at the same time, I have to take care of and not leave my mother's house alone and on the other hand I have to look for my own comfort and convenience.
For so many reasons and motives, I hired a lady on Saturday to help me. She agreed to help me on the condition that she would clean only the kitchen area, a condition I accepted. But I am one of those people who cannot stand by and watch and direct, so I went to work with the lady. That involved carrying water, to wash the kitchen floors. We cleaned the fridge really well, removed cobwebs and generally did a good job together.
As I have mentioned in another post, the problems with water, electricity and general deterioration of the house are evident and the house is 60 years old and approximately 10 years without any maintenance work.
At noon the lady left as she is responsible for the care of her mother and had to leave to take care of her. She left happy with the previously agreed payment. The truth is that when she left. I was left cleaning a room in the house with water and also to continue until I decided to finish.
On Saturday I really felt very tired 😥🥴 and I took an ibuprofen because a large part of my body hurt. I got to my apt I took a shower, prepared some food and laid down to rest. And I think I fell asleep early 😴.
Sunday I woke up with the idea of continuing the work at mom's house. I told them that I left very early in order to finish the cleaning job. I did it with the help of two people who picked up the leaves and garbage. On my part, I cleaned the inside of the house, in addition to tidying up many objects that were moved by the cleaning. I was very tired 🥴😥. But on the other hand satiated.
I decided to get dressed up 👩🦰 and go out for a walk and stroll to the nearby supermarket which is very nice. I wanted to distract myself and to buy a small list that I prepared. I told myself this weekend was a lot of work and I deserve a distraction and relaxing moment.
I kept moving forward in my tour and guess what, I loved this day as I met some friends from #Hive a Hivers family that I find lovely the husband and wife @nathyortiz and
@atilioalcala 🥰 with their son 👪 and
@daysiselena with her husband😘. I tell you that I was very happy with this reunion😁🤗. I hadn't seen them in person since the day of the Sucre meetup.
After taking pictures and greeting each other we wished each other the best and finally we said goodbye until our next #hive meetup this month in Cumaná.
The truth is that I felt very comfortable, little by little I felt better, the reunion cheered up my spirits and there came a time when all the tiredness was dissipating little by little.
I am writing this because in another aisle of this store I met my English teacher and I was very excited and we were able to exchange a few words. Among them, that I missed the equipment for the Advanced Course since it was postponed for next year.
Thanks to these nice moments that I reencounter with my childhood friendships, my HIVE friends and my English teacher whom I admire and appreciate, 😃what better therapy to replenish my energies and brighten my day😁.
So I bought almost everything on my list. What I lacked was some wheat to prepare one of the salads that I like the most as it is the Tabule which is a preparation of Arab food origin.
When I got home I prepared a small bowl with Greek Yogurt, cereal with fiber and a spoonful of honey. One of my favorite snacks which I had not enjoyed for a long time.
Friends of #weekend this weekend I worked a lot, but in the end I was very pleased with the work I did and happy for these reunions. ✨What better way to reward you¡ go shopping for your likes and reunite with so many beautiful people and whom I appreciate a lot✨.
💖I loved this weekend💖
Thank you for joining me is this weekend 😃☺️.
