And in today's happy update, although we talked a little bit about it recently: **I found old photos of Nina with her adoptive mother!** Mimo (the mother cat with the peculiar gaze) did not give birth to Nina; she spontaneously adopted her the day I took in the abandoned kittens in the same house where we were caring for the newly spayed cats. I remember Mimo with special love and gratitude because when we rescued her and her three babies, she was extremely thin and dehydrated, her condition was painful, and yet she decided to care for and feed two more babies. Mimo is incredible, a one-in-a-million cat. Currently, Nina has a personality quite similar to Apolo's. Both are temperamental and highly territorial, but they are also very affectionate and patient with children.
