It was early morning a few days ago while babysitting my son back in my hometown at my parent's house I noticed this small hoverfly hovering around the small plantation in the yard. I tried to check on it and noticed that this guy might be still sleepy since it was not moving so fast and so far.
And then as soon as my wife was free, I asked her to take turns babysitting my son for a little bit while I took my camera and got a few shots of this guy.
As I mentioned it might be sleepy since it just stays on the leaf and not hovering around like it used to do. Unfortunately, I bumped my diffuser into the leaf it perched on, thus making it angry it just flew away after giving me a few chances to the good macro shots.
