This Polyrhacis ant was wandering alone on a plant, maybe in search for the food. What I like about this ant, is the behavious, where usually the ant will go in a pack or an army, they decided to wander alone. It might be understandable because of its size, so that it can defend itself quite nicely. But maybe there are some advantage as well to wander alone.

So it is interesting to know their behaviour, how a species that we know usually lives in a colony can live alone. Cna we human do that as well? I don't really think that we can live very much alone in this world.

Also look at the pointy spine of its back, it can be use to deter predator when it is still alive. Maybe they can also be useful when it dies, at least it will give the predator a hard time to eat them.
