“Honey, let’s go buy a red sealing wax palm,” my wife said this afternoon.
My wife is working on a project to redesign the garden in our backyard. She says it’s to create a fresh new atmosphere.
So she made a list of plants she wants to buy. One of them is this red sealing wax palm. She’s wanted to buy this plant for a really long time. Besides being trendy in the houseplant community, she says this plant makes the garden look more luxurious.
Finally, this afternoon we went around looking for this palm, going from one houseplant store to another.
At one store, my wife said it was too expensive. At another, the palm wasn’t in good condition.
At the last store, my wife finally found what she was looking for.
That beautiful red palm is hidden among the neatly arranged rows of garden bonsai in this photo. It’s located a little further back in this store. We walked past the neatly arranged rows of garden bonsai on the right and left sides of the store to get to the red palm.
What do you think of these rows of garden bonsai? Interested in planting some in your yard? Or do you prefer the red sealing wax palm?
