Hello Hivers, I hope you are doing well. Today, I want to share this marker drawing I did recently. I bought some brush-tip markers relatively recently and wanted to try them out. Since I reconciled with non-digital materials, I experiment for pleasure. When I was a child, I never liked markers much. It bothered me that they would darken when adding more ink and that the paper would get ruined due to my inexperience, so I avoided them whenever I could.
Hola Hivers, espero se encuentren bien. Hoy les quiero compartir este dibujo con marcadores que hice hace poco. Compré unos marcadores con punta tipo pincel hace relativamente poco y quería probar qué tal eran, ya que desde que me reconcilié con los materiales no digitales, experimento por placer. De pequeño, nunca me gustaron mucho los marcadores. Me molestaba que se oscureciesen más al agregar más tinta y que la hoja se destruyera por mi inexperiencia, así que siempre que pude los evité.
Now that I’m older and watch a lot of content from illustrators, I understand the best ways to make the most of them, and I wanted to put that into practice to see if I could achieve it. So, I set out to sketch and start.
Ahora que soy grande y veo mucho contenido de ilustradores, entiendo cómo es la mejor forma de sacarles provecho y quise ponerlo en práctica a ver si lo podía conseguir. Así que me dispuse a hacer el boceto e iniciar.
The illustration has something curious about it: in the earliest stages, it can look completely different from how the final result will be, and obviously, this is something that not only others notice but oneself as well. Despite having an idea of what I was going to do and how, I didn’t trust myself, and that initial look made me think, “This won’t turn out well.” So, I didn’t take photos of the process, but I decided to continue no matter what, and in the end, I was proven wrong and was very happy with the result, especially considering it was my first attempt. I hope you like it.
La ilustración tiene algo curioso que es que en las fases más iniciales puede llegar a verse completamente diferente a cómo será el resultado final y, obviamente, es algo que no solo notan los demás, sino uno mismo. A pesar de que tenía la idea de lo que iba a hacer y cómo, no confié en mí, y esa primera vista me hizo decirme: "no saldrá bien". Así que no tomé fotos del proceso, pero decidí seguir sin importar qué y, la verdad, terminé llevándome la contraria y me dejó muy contento con el resultado, por supuesto, tomando en cuenta que fue el primer intento.
