Recently I was given a Canon 5D Mark ii camera with a 14 mm manual lens, to my misfortune the batteries of the camera have presented me with quite a few problems since it was a used equipment and for this reason I have not been able to test it on many occasions while I wait for new batteries to arrive.
Hace poco me regalaron una cámara Canon 5D Mark ii con un objetivo 14 mm manual, para mi mala fortuna las baterías de la cámara me han presentado bastantes problemas ya que era un equipo usado y por esto no la he podido probar en muchas ocasiones mientras espero que me lleguen baterías nuevas.
Recently, I had a 15 years photo session of which I don't want to highlight more details. But I was finally able to test the lens and camera in a real situation which is what I was hoping for. I was worried that the meter measurement indicated by the lens or my spatial notion measuring meters would fail, and what made the test more complicated for me was that the camera and computer previews did not show me for sure if the focus was correct or not. To my good fortune (this time) the meter metering of both the lens and myself did not fail me and the photos I was able to take with this particular lens came out in focus.
Hace poco, tuve una sesión de fotos de 15 años de la cual no quiero resaltar mayores detalles. Pero al fin pude probar el objetivo y la cámara en una situación real que es lo que estaba esperando. Me preocupaba que la medición de metros que indique el lente o mi noción espacial midiendo metros fallará, y lo que me hacía más complicada la prueba es que las previsualizaciones de la cámara y de la computadora no me mostraban a ciencia cierta si el enfoque estaba o no correcto. Para mi buena fortuna (esta vez) la medición de metros tanto del lente como mía no me fallaron y las fotos que pude realizar con este objetivo en particular salieron enfocadas.
I find it amazing the perspective that can be achieved with this focal length and I have been waiting a long time to get this camera and lens setup. When I tried it I could understand photos of great photographers such as Platon Antoniou who is a portrait photographer that I admire a lot.
Me parece increíble la perspectiva que se logra con esta distancia focal y estuve esperando mucho tiempo por poder adquirir este setup de cámara y objetivo. Al probarlo pude entender fotos de grandes fotógrafos como lo es Platon Antoniou que es un retratista que admiro mucho.
