If I look at your battle history, I feel like it's more about positioning. Also some good cards to have at low ranks are: Owster Rotwell (death summoner with magic reflect), this card makes magic teams a breeze. DJINN CHWALA (dragon card, has thorns, which will easily deal with melee comps). You can go Mylor crowling as well, but he's a $50 card so I guess that might be too much. If you can afford a furious chicken, that one is a really good 0 mana card. As it can take 1 attack from a monster, so it's good for soaking up damage for free basically.
Also I would say mix your teams up a bit, so it's not super easy to counter you. As if you would use one or two teams it's actually pretty easy to counter, as people can see what you used recently.
