After saving Sakai Fort from the Mongols I thought I should look around the fort properly. This was the fighting ground where I defeated the Mongol leader. I had to fight a lot to defeat him. So far he was the strongest enemy I had faced.
The Mongol soldiers who were still alive were now being treated in different ways. Some were tied up. Some were being beaten badly. Some were being made to clean the area.
Sakai Fort has a main building. It was built at the highest place in the fort. I went to the top to see the view from there. The view from the top was even more beautiful. I could see a large area of Iki Island from there.
I heard this place was once a home for eagles. Maybe that is why so many eagles are flying around here. I was wondering if these eagles would become my pets one day.
There was also a Sakai Clan banner on the building. I collected it before leaving the place.
Then I came outside and started riding my horse. I saw a man standing in front of a fire. At first I thought he was going to jump into the fire. So I went to him and asked what happened.
He told me that some people had gathered at a beach on Iki Island. They were talking about the Sakai invasion. I became curious and thought I should go there. I wanted to see who they were and what they were talking about.
After going some distance I also saw a few women inside the fort. Not only them but there was also a trapper and a merchant inside the fort now.
After saving the fort from the Mongols the place was slowly starting to feel alive again.
