Finally got the chance to be part of this activity. Babi and her colleagues initiated an outreach program that happened the other day. I’ve been wanting to do this during the Lenten season but I didn't get the chance to do it at that time. Glad that Babi and her team pushed this long-overdue plan.
We agreed to divide the total expenses and I volunteered to do the cooking. I woke up at 3:00 am to prepare everything. Supposedly, it should be spaghetti with bread, but since this was an abrupt activity, we only prepared spaghetti with juice. We packed a total of 25 pieces only. As much as we want to produce and distribute more, our cooking pan can only make 1.5 kilos. We’ll buy a bigger one so we can make more next time.
They distribute the food pack to the less fortunate children in Lapulapu City. It was a success! Looking forward to more outreach activities this year.
