Hi beautiful people! Itโs been a while.
I do hope everyone is doing fine and well, and that everybody celebrated the New Year with a joyful heart. I was quite busy during the last two weeks of December thatโs why I wasnโt able to post. I do have a lot to blog about- our company party, catching up with my dear friends, and a lot more, but allow me to share with you first our yearly tradition with the family.
Christmas is indeed the most beautiful time of the year. I was so happy that I got to spend it with my family. Glad that I got a job where I can enjoy a weekend day off and no work on holidays, unlike before the previous work I need to be present during holidays. God is so good for granting all my prayers.
So this is what happened last Christmas...
On Christmas Eve, I, together with my two beautiful sisters, Rica and Jong, and our parentsโ had dinner at our older sisterโs house, Joycie. They prepared sumptuous food on the table. I cooked and brought sweet rice cake or โBikoโ in Bisaya since Joycie asked for it. My father and brother-in-law had a heart-to-heart moment while enjoying their shot of soju.
A celebration wouldnโt be complete without having a mandatory family picture. We took a couple of shots before heading home.
On Christmas day, we went to church early in the morning and then headed to our eldest sisterโs house, Ate Gwen. We already plan to have lunch at their house. All the siblings agreed to order a food platter at Cocina Calza so it wouldn't be a hassle for us to prepare that day.
After our sumptuous lunch, my sister, Ate Gwen, hosted a bingo game with amazing prices. I was so happy that I won the black-out prize worth $17.95 or P1000.00.
After playing bingo, the exchange of gifts followed. We open it together, and we all laughed because most of the gifts wrapped were towels. Hahaha
Then the giving of gifts from respective siblings to everybody. And of course, before going home, we took a family photo.
We all had fun.
It was one special day for all of us. Moments like this are worth keeping.
