As I was busy scrolling on my phone yesterday, I came across these photos. The most exciting yet thrilling experience so far. I am glad that I was able to try it last year. I remember way back in 2016, my best friend kept on telling me that we should try canyoneering but my schedule is quite hectic at that time and I only had one day off before in my previous job unlike in my recent job. I got to enjoy two days off in a week. So, together with my favorite people, JERDS, we tried this fun and exciting thrilledventure. I suggested to the group months before doing this adventure to have a sinking fund so that we won't be having some problems with the budget. And as planned, we made it successfully. The cost of the canyoneering per person at that time was P1500.00 with lunch inclusive. We don't have go-pro so we rented one for P500.00. One of our friends who tried canyoneering already told us that it would much be better if we have go-pro so that all the fun will be recorded and none of us owns one so we opted to rent one.
We leave the south bus terminal at exactly 4:30 am and arrived at Badian at 7:30. Had our breakfast first before going to the location. The exact time we started was 8:50 am, but before that, we were briefed by the staff about the do's and don'ts during the activity. You're curious why I still remember the details, the time and all? Well, I recorded everything on my phone from departure to arrival and every single detail of that adventure. Am I that really obsessed with saving memories? ๐
Thereโs also a funny moment before the briefing. My friend said โthis way, theyโll give us first a quick briefingโ but you know what? the word that I heard was BP โthey will get us blood pressure first? That's kind of coolโ then they all laughed. I'm just quite excited about it that's why I didn't hear it right. Lol
That was almost 30 minutes of hiking before we arrived at the starting point of the canyoneering. We jumped off to about five to six cliffs I guess and that was so satisfying. The adrenaline rush I felt every time I jump was so surreal. I enjoyed it so much and I wanted to do it again. The most thrilled, challenging, and unforgettable adventure I tried so far. I can't wait to do more exciting adventures. Next will be bungee jumping. Unlocking it very soon. That's it for now. Xoxo ๐
