Now it is clear that the queen birthed no child for the king but for her lover, It is a good thing that the King decided to go outside his marriage for the search of a son
And I think the woodcutter's wife was wise enough not take her son to the king until he was 21 because if she had taken the child then, his existence would have been threaten either by the queen or some other unknown forces.
This was a beautiful read I must say
