The rapid move towards P2P exchanges in Nigeria may well have also been fuelled by concerns about government regulation of crypto being ramped up.

I wanted to run all down to the comment box and tell you that apart from the high charges that sending fiat currencies across borders involves, the reason Asian and African countries seem to be Ranking is as a result of our government regulation...
So we had to stick to peer to peer.

And as I read on, I discovered, you already mentioned it

It's fine, but it gets increasingly difficult if someone wanted to buy something as simple as USDT over here in Africa, and we can't find a suitable website to do so as a result of the regulations

I don't know about anyone else, but, I don't feel good about it 😩
