I was glued to this piece from the beginning to the the end. Justice in our country is over rated. The innocent always ends up getting convicted and the guilty goes scot free..what a country!

I am glad, I could make you see similar reasons with me. It's not just our country, it happens everywhere.

One of the stories you narrated actually made me remember something that happened to my dad. I wouldn't want to start explaining it here.. Maybe I will write a post about it soonest. He was sha arrested for something he knows nothing about and all because he was trying to be a good samaritan.

Hahahhahaha... Reading this comment made me remember, I forgot one of the points I wanted to raise.

It's my dad that explained this scenario to us too. He said, most times, when there is a police raid in the town, those folks who are involved in illicit drugs often take those supplier to the next compound, and leave them there.

So once the police dogs are able to sniff out the drugs, and find them in your compound, you get arrested for it.

You see, you can just stay home and get arrested when you had no idea about the existence of such things.

I also remember another one, a friend told me. She said, a man had called her on the street, and gave her a good sum of money.

The man told her he was in importation business, and that someone is bringing him packages and parcels.

All she needed to do was to receive the parcel and keep them for him, then, he will pick them up later on.

The lady said, the whole stuff was too good to be true. He even took her to the supermarket and bought her every food item that could keep her home, and happy

She got lucky, one of the people who sells in her city, called her after the man left, and warned her to stay off the man's tracks.

When she was called in the evening, she refused to pick up. The man was really angry but there was nothing he could do about it

Now, she said, the thing is, those parcels were illicit drugs, and that the drug law agencies may have been on their tail, so they just needed either a place to hide the drugs or a scapegoat.... She was just lucky.

Maybe, you really should write a post about your side of the story.... I would love to read it....if you do, please, don't forget to tag me 😊

Henceforth, my bags will be with me whenever am traveling because I totally see sense in what your friend told you. Criminals will always find a scape goat to avoid being caught.

Lol....be careful dear

May God help us....

I say Amen to this

Thanks for this powerful piece.
