Imagine how you went from the CAFO to the point where they are preys and we the predators because of where our eyes are located

You moved over to how the cows on your area enjoy a wider space, and a bit of freedom

Wait, I almost forgot, how your title reflected how your mind worked at this point, because you haven't had enough sleep yet

What's more shunning is how you describe the way some of us live humanly

Most of us are comfortable with our situations and we don't even know there could be something better out there

This applied to the CAFO cows and the ones in your area. One has terrible experience and the other the best ones, either of them, not realizing the difference on their situation

Yet, after two years, they end up in a plate

Humanly, we end up in the grave after a period of time irrespective of what we experience on life

It is sweet that you tried feeding the cows, but they couldn't come close because of the first thoughts you explained about them being preys, and us the predators
