What a moving story. It really touched me to read how an instrument can become a bridge between those who are no longer with us and us. The fact that your Uncle Barry was restoring that ukulele right before he passed away, and that your friend Ryan finished it, gives the instrument a soul that no store could ever offer. It’s as if every note you play carries a little piece of your father and Barry. I love that you decided to learn to play it despite the passing of the years. Music will definitely always bring people together. A big hug πŸ€—
