Para mi participación no tuve que ir tan lejos esta vez, les traigo una canción que llevo rasgando en la guitarra muchísimo tiempo, con ansias de cantarla, llegando finalmente la ocasión de hacerle un cover. La canción que les traigo y dejo a su consideración es: "Un beso y una flor" del cantante Nino Bravo, una canción que fue y será por siempre un himno al amor. Es una de mis favoritas de este artista que, aunque no es de mi generación, pero de cierta manera crecí escuchando música de esta época dorada. Recordada por muchos como: "la década prodigiosa", gracias a que la radio de mi país presenta una programación musical bastante variada.
Lo conocimos gracias a la magia de la música como Nino Bravo, pero su nombre real era Luis Manuel Ferri Llopis, cantante español que se forjó una carrera musical de gran éxito en los años 70. Y aunque su carrera fue bastante breve, luego de fallecer en un trágico accidente de tránsito, nos dejó una huella imborrable en la música española a escala universal. "Un beso y una flor" es una de sus canciones más escuchadas, lanzada en el año 1972, poco antes de su desaparición física. Una balada romántica que quedó inmortalizada en su voz, marcada por una época que creó sus propios estilos característicos.
La letra de la canción nos muestra una historia romántica en la que un emigrante se despide de su amor, algo que, como nunca antes, está con más vigencia en nuestros días. En la que muchas familias de varias regiones del mundo, han tenido que decir adiós a un pedacito de su corazón. La letra, en sí, es poesía, nos baña la piel con emociones de nostalgia y esperanza.
