Lately we were talking about staying lose, and being able to adapt, it also helps not seeing Hive like a job, but more a tool to comment on life, a tool that help compile info, and order our thoughts.
After preparing the last video for a long time, I needed to work on something simple that didn't require rehearsals, so I opt for a song from my first album, "You Could Be The One".
On Saturday, I recorded a version first thing in the morning in the kitchen, but the result was a bit disappointing.
The performance was ok, but the camera kept on zooming in and out...
For future reference, and for those interested, it's because the AI phone camera, doesn't know what to focus on, because there isn't enough light on the subject.
What I should have done, is put my pretty face in the sun, to give the AI a clear chance of picking the right subject, instead of the background which is also illuminated.
In the afternoon, we went on a trip to Durban, not the South African one, with our friend 
I think this is the perfect location for a live performance, you have a clear view of the Pyrenees mountains, my first idea was to set in front of the windmill, but I couldn't miss out on the view.
A few words on the song:
I wrote it almost 10 years ago and recorded it for my first album Neo in 2013, it starts with an harmonic dissonance, it's here to represent the lack of connections between people, the lack of true friendships, and real relationships in the dating world.
I guess, at the time I wanted to explore an idea, how we consume people the same way we consume things, half assed, and keep on meeting persons that don't care about you, and that you don't care about.
I blame it on everyone, myself included. To our defenses, it's difficult to find like minded individuals out there, but there are some!
I think the main character of the song, is a little bit pathetic, because he is complaining about "meeting the same old person", but didn't even try to connect with his date, kept "getting bored, touching the screen of his phone", and I think there is a true irony in there, that we don't see what's right in front of us.

Anyway, the character isn't me, because I would never wear a thumb-ring, I mean, wtf!
All in all, I am trying to listen to some friends advice, and just go with the flow, the first recording failed, and I didn't settle for it, remember that what we produce here, is a showcase of what we're capable of doing, and we should always strive for the best version.
