I live in a city of abundance, but I can quite easily live a life of minimalism.
I do still have all the things, clothes and whatnot from the past, still use them, but not adding extras, unless absolutely necessary. Rarely I buy something just for convenience. I must admit, I can 'close' my eyes to temptations easily. Also, we don't have to many ads in our city. But but but I do think it all starts with our own mind. When going minimal, one needs to breathe and feel the minimalism.
