Nice to read about and hear some of the other music styles you like and listen to. And your post serves as a trigger to also check my own Spotify wrapped thingy. Though they may have had this service already for years, it'll be the first time I'll be checking it.

All your top picks have lyrics. Nice to see, since Techno doesn't have a lot of that :) Am totally not into lyrics, vocals are an instrument for me. Somehow the "Bo Burnham - All Eyes On Me" I do like as well, even if this is not only singing but also storytelling. Must say, I didn't listen to what this guy has to say :) Like to combination of music and voice, ie the arrangement is cool. Owww, now I just hear something about Ocean rising and all, so he must talk about the big problems we are facing :)

Now I need to decide if I'll post something about my Spotify Wrapped. Just had a look and looks like I hardly use Spotify to play albums or songs. I seem to use it often to search for an artist and bookmark them when I like someone or a band. Like you, I seem to listen more from Soundcloud and sometimes from YT. What I see at the top of my most frequent playlist are just a few artists. Nils Frahm, Annelie (a Dutch pianist for which I made a playlist with all her released piano compositions), Rival Consoles "Untravel", which I recently added and listened to a bunch of times since I was so happy when I found this one after hearing this track in DJ sets more than a few times and never knew (or took the time) to discover the artist who made it. Owww a little further down the top list, like between 20 and 40, I see a few Ludovic Einaudi entries. And happy to see Sigur Rós in my top 50 as well. But must say, almost the whole playlist of Amelie is in my top 50, so it looks like she is the one who should get most of my subscription fee {LOL}
