Being from the East Coast, heading out there was really eye opening and quite exciting.

Don't you have such events you came across in LA and show to us in the video, in the East?
The country in which I live (the Netherlands) is tiny, with just the amount of citizens NYC has, but I can tell you, we have many events using all sort of different methods to get people to be more in touch with oneself, nature and the people around us. To become more aware of the here and now. I think this is a natural progression with the whole trend of competition ongoing in our societies. Stress levels are increasing year-on-year. As a result, anything that can reduce stress-levels is becoming more popular as well, like yoga, like healings and all. Many attend because they are curious, and some stay. The group that really likes to attend these events, is growing and growing though.

With my super positive hat, I think this is the start of the transformation of our societies from an egocentric, capitalistic one to a new one in which I hope we will care for each other again while money is just a means, not the goal in our lives.
