In today's America, distraction is the name of the game. Land of the free? So you think. While stories bombard the media like the US shooting down Syrian jets, congressmen getting hosed down by liberals, and a Navy ship not seeing a 300 ton shipping vessel on their radar; the fix is in.
For years I followed the politics, not on tv or radio, but via the web. After a decade of feeling like a pug chasing its stub, Id finally had enough. Its a show. A dog and pony show for the people barely paying attention long enough to swallow some spin. Several years ago I was doing a property survey for a veteran FBI agent. I asked him, of the news that's reported in the media, what percentage of it is true? He responded with, "2-3%". 2-3%?! I can "pan" a higher percentage of gold dust out of a 100 pound bag of sand from Lowes.
While our stock market is at 21,395, it hardly reflects the state of the union. 2-3000 retail outlets across this country are due to close their doors over the next year. Gold and silver, even though heavily manipulated, still hardly reflect the value of a heavily inflated dollar. Which is why I got into cryptocurreny, and eventually steemit. The people that are hip to the game and dabbling in crypto's, are the ones that are hedging against the dollar, even if they don't realize it. There's a very good reason the Fed is doing everything it can to curtail bitcoin and alt's.
