It rises like a colossus
Cloud darkened nights
And Sun-set tinted skies
Then Summer refuses to come
The trees open their arms
To the swirling of the waves
To the whirling bounteous winds
To the fury of the cluster-ed waters
The oceans climb through
To elevated mountains
And the waters war in deadly rage
But my heart breaks not
In despair or despondence
For I face storms to defy them
I have been uniquely wired
Dangerously crafted
To rise above raging storms
The Moon shines in soft-ness
Then the cold wind sweeps loudly
There's turmoil in the midst
Of the scavenging elements
In the darkest storms
Wrapped in roaring down-pours
But in the wild of the night
Stripped of glittering stars
I am brought home
Safely ashore
For they don't scare me
They don't move me
But make me toughened
For I have been uniquely wired
To rise above raging storms
I will dance in the rain
I will wait for the storms
For I am anchored ashore
Surely they come
un-bidden Un-welcomed

The sullen wind is awakened
With the clouds towering above
Menacingly shrouded in black
But the light will glow
The tides and depths
Will but go away

To find beauty Where'er
To find rare moments in nights
To master and defy
Its threatening stare
To ride with cheer atop the winds
And to rise above the raging storms
