Tempestuous seas, billowing breaths. Hailstorms surging over its overwhelming bank. Assaults of life's monstrous dens. And the dragons spitting forth fiery flames.
There is sanctuary in your open arms. A safe haven in your heart to dwell. A tenderness ever soaring sure. In the arms of solace, I find my peace.
When in agony I pour myself. When in silent tears I whisper pain. My lonely soul will find its place. And in the arms of solace, a shoulder to lean.
I un-zip the facade, raw and vulnerable. I decompress my deeply embedded torment. I am again struck by your tranquil presence. In the arms of solace, we merge into humans.
