No the door that you picked still has a 1/3 chance of being correct while the other door is 1/2.
At the end of the simulation:

  • one door has a 1/2 chance of success (the one you can switch to)
  • one door has a 1/3 to win (the one you picked)
  • the last door has a 0% chance to win due to elimination by the host

Which is very weird because the odds don't add up to 100% because they were changed mid flight.

Rereading it now just to make sure I have it right...
And it looks like switching does indeed give you 2/3 chance to win.
All the odds do in fact add up to 100%.
