Would you say that people that commit suicide are crazy?

If you kill yourself you're depressed but if you kill someone else that symbolizes your depression you're a whackjob :D
I think ultimately there are no simple explanations here.

Explaining away all this weird shit with "he's crazy" is similar to "god works in mysterious ways"
It's not an explanation at all.
It's a fancy way of saying "I don't know", which inherently admits the situation is muddled in complexity.
