All the value of crypto is in real crypto. All of the exponential gains are in real crypto. CBDCs lose a massive amount of value if they do not interface with the rest of the ecosystem. That's a failed business model right out of the gate. It would be like some corporation being like "the Internet is a fad our intranet/extranet is going to take over". Like... no, that's not real.
It is also politically impossible to ban other forms of crypto and force people to use one CBDC only. The narrative there is so broken that no one would accept it. It's impossible to hide the conflict of interest. Again, that's not now politics works. Politics is a mastered craft of gas lighting and manipulation and propaganda etc etc. There is no scenario where they are just like ah lets just throw that all out the window and force them to do it this way like it's a totalitarian state. That's a recipe for instant revolt and failure.
We are already seeing entire governments upended by the price of gas doubling.
Something like a CBDC + totalitarian state is infinitely worse and more shocking than that.
Remember the boiled frog?
Show me how forcing CBDCs on the population is synonymous with a slow burn of manipulation.
None of this adds up on any level.
