I mean the tech is open source.
It was given to them with open arms.
And that's fine.

I've already written a post about why I'm bullish on CBDC.
It completely changes the narrative and forces mainstream adoption.
It trains millions of devs who will inevitably leave to go do the real thing.
It will act as a smooth transition to networks that actually help community.
Every vendor will accept dozens of cryptos for payment. (main benefit).
The above actually exponentially increases privacy of all real cryptos.
I believe all the CBDC doomsaying is greatly misjudged.
This was always how it was going to go down.
Crypto is for everyone (even the banks).
