Drawing certain parts of the human body can really let you learn better the proportions and in oder to draw a complete portrait, full time drawing of a person, you have to divide everything to certain parts.
It will let you learn about the shading and the structure of them
I remember drawing something like this in my art lessons when I was in like 7th grade. We needed to put our own hand on the paper and just trace the outline of our hands. Maybe you guys have done something the same
