Beards
Lets talk little bit about the beard this time!
Before you want to draw a beard or a mustache its good to have an understanding of the overall shape of facial hair. All people are so different that the types fo beards also vary.
I myself can not grow a relly full beard. I remember once not shawing for about 3 months and I grew a beard only aout 3 cm. So I think Iwould have to grow it for a year maybe +maybe use some kind of cosmetcis to grow it bigger and fuller
While facial hair can vary in shapes so much, I did a drawing of a common example.
As you can see in my drawing below, facial hair tends grown down from the sideburns with some hair on the cheeks too. If you are really taking care of your facial hair, you usually are cutting the hair on the cheeks.
After that the hair goes down from the nose curving around the top lip. I personally dont like mustaches. I remeber my father having one all my childhood. You really have to being able to wear a mustache.
The hair then grows down from the bottom lip down towards the chin and goes all around the neck.
If you want to draw a character with a beard start by drawing out the shape where the hair will be. Sometimes I just draw the outline of the face and then I add the beard lines.
