On a personal level you can make a lot of changes with this principle. If at any point you feel depressed, anxious or worried, change your physical arrangement or improve your personal outward appearance, it will immediately influence how you feel. If your life is very chaotic or problematic, start by putting your desk, wardrobe or bedroom in order. Order on the outside will help you find order on the inside.
In the East, every year, families take things out of their homes that they will no longer need. According to their beliefs, this allows them to activate the energy preventing it from stagnating into a similar situation in their lives. I'm not 100% sure about this, but what I do know is the well being that comes when we get rid of useless things and those we no longer use.
Try it as a healthy habit. Set a period, every six or twelve months, and take out all the tools and appliances that don't work that you don't use at home. It's not good to keep clothes you won't use, books or magazines you won't read, or other objects that don't serve a useful function. It is essential that you make room for the new things that may come into your life.
Also, according to the specialists of the mind, having many old things in the house means that you live tied to the past, to memories and that does not allow change. What can you keep? That which is useful, positive and necessary. There are ancient objects that can be useful and valuable, so do not interpret that everything old is bad because it is definitely not so. Only that which does not serve you can become harmful. Say goodbye to everything that you no longer use with love, bless it and make it circulate.
Always keep in mind that, according to what we carry inside, we attract people and situations. What happens to us, good or bad, is reflecting patterns of thoughts stored in our minds. Good people, who love and help us, reflect the most favorable part of our consciousness, while those who generate problems for us, envy us or hate us, are reflecting the darkest part of our own consciousness. In other words, the people who are most negative only come into our lives to do us the favor of reminding us that we have certain mental patterns to heal.
So even that is to be thankful to them for the experience they can leave us. To grow, you must first accept responsibility for your own life. In other words, a battering husband is just as guilty as his partner who allows him to hit her. Seen in this way, you will avoid finding an external culprit to your own problems, because the solution is in your hands. How? I could be looking for help to prevent the abuse from continuing.
And it is that the first thing we do when faced with a difficulty is to find a guilty party. Yes, each one has the perfect person responsible for his own unhappiness, his partner, one of his parents, his children, his boss, his friends, his neighbors, if that is not enough, is blamed on bad weather or bad luck. The beginning of change, if we understand it once and for all, is in us.
Nor is it necessary for you to feel guilty about what happens to you. You just have to feel responsible, know that some erroneous thought patterns are leading you to make bad choices. Once you change your thoughts, you will change your life.
From now on, every time a problem arises it is convenient that you ask yourself, What does this mean in my life? Why or how am I creating this situation? In this way, you will discover the belief that has led you to live the environment. To change that belief you must put into practice what you learned in the principle of mentalism.
