Ich habe ja erst berichtet, dass zur Zeit das "Sommer am Kiez" Festival in Augsburg ist, und Doro bei uns zu Gast war.
Letzten Sonntag ist aus Sommer am Kiez dann Reggae am Kiez geworden und wir hatten wieder einen besonderen Gast bei uns.
Der Musiker Gentleman war bei uns. Einfach nur großartig. Ich bin Reggaefan und somit ist er natürlich einer meiner Highlights die ich hier bei uns je begrüßen durfte.
Vor ein paar Jahren war Hans Söllner hier und das war schon für mich aufregend.
Gentleman ist aber wohl noch ein paar Nummern größer.
Auch bei ihm kann ich ganz klar sagen, dass er ein unglaublich sympathischer Mensch ist. Es kann schon vorkommen, dass Stars eher ablehnend auf die Frage reagieren, ob man ein Foto für unsere Webseite machen kann.
Er hat sofort ja gesagt und hat sich auch noch für das Zimmer und den schönen Aufenthalt bedankt.
Auch sein Interesse über den ungewöhnlichen Stiel des Hotels (wir sind ja keine Kette und punkten mit eher ausgefallenen Dingen) klang wirklich ehrlich und interessiert.
Es war mir eine große Ehre ihn bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen.
Wenn ich nicht eh schon Fan von ihm wäre, dann wäre ich es jetzt.
Was für ein tolles Wochenende.
Jetzt wird es wohl wieder etwas dauern, bis erneut etwas Glamour bei uns einkehrt. Business as usual ist die nächste Zeit angesagt. Aber wer weiß.
I just reported that the "Sommer am Kiez" festival is currently in Augsburg, and Doro was our guest.
Last Sunday, Sommer am Kiez became Reggae am Kiez and we had a special guest again.
The musician Gentleman was with us. Just great. I'm a Reggae fan, so of course he's one of the highlights I've ever had the pleasure of welcoming here.
A few years ago Hans Söllner was here and that was already exciting for me.
But Gentleman is probably a few sizes bigger.
With him, too, I can say quite clearly that he is an incredibly likeable person. It can happen that celebrities react rather negatively to the question whether we can take a photo for our website.
He immediately said yes and thanked us for the room and the wonderful stay.
His interest in the unusual style of the hotel (we are not a chain and score with rather unusual things) also sounded really honest and interested.
It was a great honour to welcome him to our hotel.
If I wasn't already a fan of his, I would be now.
What a great weekend.
Now it will probably take a little while before some glamour returns to us. Business as usual is the order of the day for the time being. But who knows.
