There are children starving to death in Yemen right now. Many millions of children are starving to death, and something needs to be done. Our governments, the governments of the United States of America and Saudi Arabia in particular, are primarily responsible for this. There is no food in the country, and we have blockaded the country so that no food can he brought in.
As citizens we have a responsibility to speak out. As Muslims and Christians we have a responsibility to speak out about this. We have a responsibility to do whatever we can to help them. Therefore, I am calling for a fast. As long as the children in Yemen go without food, so should I go without food, and I am calling on you to join me.
