Lol, and this is the human psyche. Seeing the price of Bitcoin now I remember when it was trading around $5K back then, I feel like I could have bought it at that time. But moving back to the past, $5K for Bitcoin? No man, it's expensive for me.
This is how emotions come into play and probably rightly so, because it's a highly volatile market and who would have thought that BTC will go up more than $60K.
To be at the safer side, I think one shouldn't be investing more than 5% of his portfolio in crypto and then forget about it for some time.
And at the same time I feel lucky to be here on Hive as I feel any risk out here as I am already earning a little of Hive with my posts/ curation and staking it for future.
Why not invest your extra time instead of money?
