Proceso/Process:
Intento 1/ Try 1
Seria gracioso decir que mi primer intento resulto mejor que los siguientes pero por algún motivo decidí descartarlo. Tambien tienen que saber que aunque pinto desde la imaginación siempre uso referencias para recordar posiciones de sombras y la naturaleza de cada musculo y parte del cuerpo.
It would be funny to say that my first attempt turned out better than the next ones but for some reason I decided to take it out. You should also know that although I paint from the imagination I always use references to remember shadow positions and the nature of each muscle and body part.
Aaahhh, ya recuerdo... sentí muy raro ese aspecto de muñeca que obtuvo. Aunque fue un buen entrenamiento, creo que mejor seria comenzar de nuevo y ver que resulta de otra forma.
Aaahhh, I remember... I felt so weird about that doll look she got. Although it was a good workout, I think it would be better to start over and see what turns out differently.
Intento 2 / Try 2:
Ummm... Si, mejor traemos la niña cara de muñeca de vuelta.
Ummm... yeah, better if we get the doll face back.
El ojo a sido de mis áreas favoritas al pintar rostros, crear el sombreado y el efecto del iris fue de todas lo que mas disfrute. El cabello lo hice con trazos muy rápidos, no me paré a pensar en lo que hacia.
The eye has been one of my favorite areas when painting faces, creating the shading and the iris effect was one of the things I enjoyed the most.
The hair was done with very fast strokes, I honestly didn't stop to think about what I was doing.
Como me sentí muy rara el rostro y preferí unirlo con mis primeros intento, así hacer así un mix que personalmente me gusto mucho mas.
I felt very strange about the face and I preferred to join it with my first attempts, thus making a mix that I personally liked much more.
Una vez listo todo... note que las proporciones eran demasiado raras así que tarde un rato en acomodarlos con "licuar", esa hermosa herramienta para salvar artistas.
Aun sin estar conforme, cambie parte de las sombras para crear mas profundidad y vida. Mi mejor recomendación para artistas digitales es no tengan miedo en usar "Multiplicar" y "Superponer" para reforzar sombras. Ademas de crear mas interés les permitirá hacer de los colores algo mas resaltante.
Once everything was ready... I noticed that the proportions were too weird so it took a while to fix them with "liquefying", that beautiful tool artists saving.
As I didn't feel good with it, I changed part of the shadows to create more depth and life. My best recommendation for digital artists is not to be afraid to use "Multiply" and "Overlay" to reinforce shadows. In addition to creating more interest it will allow them to make the colors stand out.
