1 Wisdom made a house
and he put seven pillared columns for it.
2 He also made a feast,
in which he offered the best wine.
Once the table is set,
3 sent messengers
to the upper part of the city,
so that from there they would shout:

4 «Twink without experience,
since they lack understanding,
come with me.
5 Come and enjoy my banquet;
Drink the wine I have prepared.
6 If you really want to live,
let go of nonsense
and act with intelligence.

7 "If you correct the scoffers,
you will only gain insults;
if you rebuke the wicked,
you will only gain their contempt.
8 Do not rebuke the scoffers,
or they will end up hating you;
better rebuke the wise,
and they will end up loving you.
9 Educate the wise,
and he will increase his wisdom;
teach the righteous something
and will increase your knowledge.

10 »Everyone who wants to be wise
that begins by obeying God;
know the holy God
is to show intelligence.
11 I, wisdom,
I will give you many years of life.
12 If you are wise,
you are the one who wins;
but if you are spoiled,
you will suffer the consequences ».

13 Ignorance is scandalous,
silly and scoundrel
14 When he is at home,
sits at the entrance itself;
when he is in the city,
sit where everyone sees,
15 and call the distracted
that happen along the way:

16 "Inexperienced twinks,
lacking in understanding,
come with me!
17 There's nothing tastier
to drink stolen water!
There is no bread that tastes so sweet
like the one who eats secretly! "
18 But these fools do not know
that this house is a cemetery;
They do not know that their guests
Now they are at the bottom of the tomb!
